Chapters & Curriculum
The ipourlife chapter is an after school value and/or faith-based program teaching students to think global and act local. The mission is to empower students to journey alongside one another whether far or near treating people with dignity and respect. The chapters are hosted by a teacher and students are elevated in leadership to run the chapter. The target age for the after school chapter is 12-17. We believe by empowering the mindset of this age, they can change the course of their generation.
The in-school curriculum teaches the same mindset partnered with values. As students learn about global topics of water, food, shelter, health and education, they too learn how their community and school are being affected in these areas. Students are challenged to elevate a relationship, drop differences and treat someone with dignity and respect by using the global topics (water, food, etc.) as a tool along with words, acts or service. A video series is included with the curriculum and chapters for students to have a visual of the ipourlife challenge.
